A semi pulling a tanker trailer rolled near Dufresne this morning, spilling its load and blocking eastbound traffic.

Steinbach RCMP responded to a call around 3 a.m. of a semi rollover on the Trans-Canada Highway near Dufresne. When they arrived, officers found the semi blocking the eastbound lanes. The tandem trailer containing asphalt was damaged and had spilled into the ditch.

The driver was not injured. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, RCMP said. Clean-up crews attended the scene and have reopened the highway.
